Character Design Week

It's been an intense week with the brilliant Julia Bracegirdle as our teacher. We did a lot of designs, a short film and a lot of other things. These are a few of my things:

Sketchbook

Last weekend I finished an A6 sketchbook. Here are some of the pages from it, the last few will come later: 

Color Theory

This week was tough for me. The first part of the week we were messing around with acrylics trying to learn some color theory from Lawrence. It hit me hard. But in the last bit of the week we were allowed to work in photoshop and then things started working better for me.
We did a lot of color thumbnails, so I'll upload a few of them for you to see.

Next week I'm gonna spend my week helping out at The Reward, a Bachelor film at the school. I'm really looking forward to it!

Dialogue

This was our first dialogue animation. It was also our first opportunity of working in a group. So I only did the scenes with the cat. The other scenes were done by my good friends and classmates Jane and Frederik. We were given a storyboard that we pretty much followed, but we added a little twist to the end.

Sunday Morning Animation

I have been wanting to experiment with animation for a while, and this morning I had the time and energy to do it. It was pretty fun, and I think I am going to keep on working with this piece. I see some things that certainly needs fixing, and if you spot anything that would improve my animation please let me know :)

Story Of Animation Clean Up

Last week we did some clean up. We had to clean a scene from Story Of Animation by Tumblehead. This is how my scene ended up. I also threw on some colors.

Bo is cool
